Sudbury Nickel Project
Pele owns a 36-percent interest in the Sudbury Nickel Project, which is comprised of 52 mining claim units covering approximately 830 hectares of mining claims on the North Range of the prolific Sudbury Mining Camp of Northern Ontario. The remaining 64-percent of the project is owned by JV-partner and project operator Walbridge Mining Company.
Past exploration by Pele and Wallbridge has confirmed the presence of multiple offset dykes and an extensive belt of Sudbury Breccia on the property. Offset dykes in the Sudbury area have hosted extensive Ni-Cu-PGE mineralization as well as several successful mining operations. Sudbury Breccia is a host lithology often associated with footwall mineralization.
Timmins Nickel Project
The Timmins Project consists of 8 mining claim units located 35 kilometres south of Timmins in northern Ontario. The project ties on to the past producing Texmont Nickel Mine. Several productive nickel mines have emerged from the world-renowned komatite-associated deposits of the Timmins area.
Pele also holds a modest package of royalty interests on some of its formerly-held properties. The Company continues to seek new opportunities within the mineral resource industry.
