RARE EARTH ELEMENTS
Why Rare Earths?
Strategic Applications; Limited Global Supply
- Many of today’s green technologies require rare earths. Products like flat screen monitors, rechargeable batteries, high power magnets and hybrid cars are dependent on the unique properties of Rare Earth Elements
- China accounts for more than 90% of global REE production and
has imposed export restrictions.
- Rare earths are essential to several
strategic military applications including
fighter jet engines, missile guidance
and control systems, communications,
lasers, electronics , optics and other
critical uses.

Rare Earths at Eco Ridge
- Extensive REE mineralization in Main Conglomerate Bed. Every one of 30 drill holes analyzed returned significant REEs; Combined average total REE concentration 2.1 kg per tonne.

- Processing and recoveries of REEs at Elliot Lake well understood. Average 64% recovery of combined Yttrium and Heavy REE in leach testing at SGS Lakefield Research.
